Photo Proposal for Atlas Obscura

Planned deliverables:

  • Multiple high quality photos from each location for Atlas Obscura to choose from from the following locations:

    • Lunar Crater (on file, but would like more)

    • Walker River State Rec Area

    • Black Rock Desert (on file)

    • Great Basin National Park

    • Valley of Fire

  • Captions composed of 3-5 sentences that include location information, night sky science, and a description of the image.

  • Create a curated collection utilizing Milky Way images, sun setting into darkness images, and location highlights within the images.

  • Ability to deliver on time with a tight deadline.

Black Rock Desert: Aurora and Milky Way seen in a panorama format over the Black Rock Desert landscape.

The zodiacal light seen above Lunar Crater. My goal will be to photograph the Lunar Crater sign horizontally that is next to the crater with a backdrop of stars during my return trip.
